A Personal FileServer is primarily meant as an online backup tool. Instead of copying critical files to an external disk or burning DVD’s you just set up a personal Scia Desk FileServer. Save the files on the virtual drive on your computer and Scia Desk takes care of the rest.

You can access these data locally or via a mobile device. You can sync your data with up to 3 computers. This way to have the same information in the office, at home and even on the road.
Share your files with other people by sending them a file link. Keep track of your revisions by means of Snapshots.

The files are encrypted to prevent unauthorized access and backed up automatically to avoid loss of data. Scia Desk does not charge per user, nor storage.

For only 30 € per month you have unlimited storage on a FileServer with unlimited guest access. Depending on the type, guests can consult synced data on their own computer, access via the web (https://mysciadesk.com), open a FileLink or FolderLink, integrate shared data in a website via the Folder Widget and view files via mobile apps.
